Sending your child to Chrysalis School is a choice in fee paying education. Chrysalis School offers affordable Steiner education, in country New South Wales. In 2008 our tuition fees are approximately $2600 for the first child. Additional fees are collected for cultural activities and camps. Chrysalis offers a very generous sibling discount . There is an annual maintenance levy per family, which is refundable by contributing to working bees at the school. We offer a variety of parent-friendly fee payment options. Chrysalis school was built by the combined efforts of parents, teachers and students; accordingly we honour those who wish to attend Chrysalis Steiner School for Steiner Education.

Children come to school on a variety of buses. Buses service Bellingen from the coast and the numerous surounding valleys. The primary school buses (year K - 5) leave from Bellingen at about 8.35 am. Children from class 6 and upwards catch an earlier bus at 8.00 from Bellingen for an 8.30 start. This buses will pick up children at agreed pick up points along the route to school. Many children catch connecting buses from the surrounding valley and then hop on this dedicated bus service to Chrysalis. Children travelling from west of Thora travel with the Dorrigo bus to school.

Whilst on the buses the children are under the auspices of the bus company and their employees. Since most of the children travel by bus, Chrysalis works collaboratively with the transport providers and has developed a good relationship with them.
