About Steiner/Waldorf Education
Steiner (or Waldorf) education is based on the philosophy of Austrian philosopher, scientist, and educator Rudolf Steiner. It has stood the test of 80 years of experience and is practiced in over 100 schools worldwide, including more than 50 in Australia. It is based on the insight into the needs and consciousness of growing children on many different levels: social, artistic, academic, physical and spiritual. Through taking account of human spiritual nature, it honours and develops both what is unique and universal in each child.
